Most people see Copenhagen from the canals – and that’s not the way to appreciate the best side of the city. But the balloon basket certainly is!
The copper spires and historic rooftops of the compact centre catch the light as you climb, then the city opens up – green parks and quiet neighbourhoods spreading outward, and the shimmer of the Øresund coast stretching away to the east.
The wind takes you where it will, as always. But from a balloon over Copenhagen, everywhere you look, there’s something worth seeing.
Flight alone lasts about an hour in the air, with the full experience – preparation, inflation, and the traditional celebratory toast after landing – around three hours. We operate from launch sites on the western edge of the city, with the exact takeoff point confirmed the evening before based on weather and wind conditions. We fly from spring through autumn.
You’ve walked the streets of the city – now is your chance to fly above them.
